Conservatory.
Each level may be ended with a test if the student so wishes. Theres no specific measure for the speed of development, that’s quite individual and depends also on the student’s age. At times the student may also experience working with subjects from different levels simultaneously.
From level 3 on (or even earlier), the students musical development should be supplemented with lessons of theory, eartraining, 2nd instrument piano, and ensemble playing.
