Biography
Born in Holbæk, Denmark, in August, 1975, and played drums from the age of 8.
Bachelor of Music from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, Netherlands, June 2003.
Pedagogical diploma from Royal Conservatoire, May 2003.
Exchange studies at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland, September 2004 - December 2005.
Master of Music
from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, Netherlands, January 2006.
Performances
Concert performances with
Michael Brecker (US), Barry Harris (US), John Ruocco (US/NL), Thomas Clausen (DK), Marc Bernstein (US/DK), Ali N’Diaye Rose (NL), and Jukkis Uotila (FIN).
Several projects with the Royal Conservatoire Big Band (NL), including a live radio concert for Radio West, conducted by the outstanding Dutch composer/arranger Henk Meutgeert.
Composed and arranged for own groups since 2001. Leader of Jacob Roved X Ensemble.
